DESCRIPTION:Elevating Leadership Development (ELD) advances the skills\, knowledge\, and network of leaders of color by providing access to leadership development and civic engagement opportunities\, and by celebrating ethnic diversity.\n\n\n\nAs part of ELD's core pillar of convening\, ELD advisory councils gather ELD-member leaders of color in Pueblo and Colorado Springs to network with nonprofit and business leaders from around Southern Colorado\, and introduce ELD members to broad-based community involvement\, civic engagement and leadership development training programs. During advisory council meetings\, ELD members connect with others in their community and learn about community-led initiatives and El Pomar grant opportunities.
